Major Bigglesworth to ground control....

So here we are at long last. If you are here, hopefully you will find something useful and maybe even entertaining? Well as entertaining as a such things get I suppose. So to start us off I make offerings of a curious link that leads one to an entertaining on-line textbook written by a pioneering Nobel laureate and Harvard faculty member, covering much of the visual system details that have recently been discussed. Lots of pictures (which might be illuminating), and Mr. Bigglesworth does enjoy pictures....

Eye, Brain and Vision by David Hubel

(NOTE: Of course this material is advanced and at much greater depth than anything required, and is by no means required-testable-eccetera-so-please-don't-ask. It is only for fool-hardy or curious folk--is there a difference?).
